Football Plays Final Road Game Saturday at Hendrix

St. Louis, Mo., Nov. 3, 2015 – The Washington University in St. Louis football team (5-3, 4-2 SAA) plays its final road game of the 2015 season at Hendrix College (6-2, 5-1 SAA) on Saturday, Nov. 7. Game time is set for 1 p.m. in Conway, Ark. The Bears are coming off a 34-16 loss at No. 23-ranked Case Western Reserve Oct. 31 in Cleveland.

Interview with WashU head coach Larry Kindbom – WATCH

THE SERIES – WashU has won both all-time meetings with Hendrix. The Bears won the first meeting 45-41 on Oct. 12, 2013, in Conway, Ark., and posted a 59-19 victory Oct. 11, 2014, in St. Louis.

THE COACHES – Head coach Larry Kindbom (Kalamazoo, 1974) is in his 27th season at WashU, compiling a record of 165-104 (.613). His 165 wins rank him as the all-time winningest coach at WashU. Overall, in 33 seasons, Kindbom is 193-134-1 (.590), and is the fifth-winningest active NCAA Division III head coach.

Hendrix College head coach Buck Buchanan (Austin, 1998) is 15-13 (.536) in three seasons at Hendrix. Buchanan served as the Louisiana College associate head coach from 2006-11, and was also defensive coordinator in 2005 and from 2007-11.
