WU Soccer Lands Five on Jewish Sports Team
Washington University had three soccer student-athletes named to the 2008 Jewish Sports Review College All-America first team and two garnered honorable mention honors. Libby Held, Becca Heymann and Caryn Rosoff earned spots on the first team, and Lee Ann Felder and senior Cliff Goldkind received honorable mention accolades.
Three Men's Soccer Players Named All-South Region
The Washington University men’s soccer team had three student-athletes earn National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-South Region honors for the 2008 season. Senior forward Marshall Plow and sophomore back Alex Neumann earned first-team honors, and sophomore defender Randall Schoen was a second-team selection.
Six Bears Earn Postseason All-UAA Recognition
The Washington University men’s soccer team had six student-athletes earn All-University Athletic Association (UAA) recognition for the 2008 season, as announced by the association on Friday. The Bears finished the 2008 season with a 12-5-1 record, and placed fourthin the UAA.
