The Washington University in St. Louis men's basketball team captured the 2008 NCAA Division III National Championship with a 90-68 win over Amherst College on March 22. Senior Troy Ruths was named the Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Championship

Tyler Nading Named Honorable-Mention All-America
Washington University in St. Louis junior forward Tyler Nading capped his third season on the Danforth Campus by being named honorable mention All-America by DIII News, the publication announced in its April issue. Nading, a first-team all-UAA selection, averaged 14.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and a UAA-best 2.2 steals per game for the Bears.
