 Men's & Women's Basketball Featured on Channel 11
The preseason No. 1 ranked men's and women's basketball teams were featured on KPLR Channel 11 on Thursday. Head coaches Nancy Fahey and Mark Edwards, along with players Janice Evans and Cameron Smith were interviewed by Kurt LaBelle.

 Men's Basketball Ranked No. 1 by Sporting News
The two-time defending NCAA Division III national champion Washington University in St. Louis men’s basketball team is ranked No. 1 in the Sporting News College Basketball Magazine top-10 poll, which is currently available on news stands. The Bears return 15 letterwinners and four starters from last year’s national title team.
 Thompson Earns DIII News Preseason Honor
Washington University senior guard Aaron Thompson has been named the 2009 DIII News Preseason Player of the Year, as announced by the publication on Wednesday. Thompson heads the publication’s Top-24 All-Americans that features three players from each of the eight regions. Graduate student Sean Wallis was also named a Top-24 selection.
 BACK-TO-BACK – Bears are National Champions
Senior Tyler Nading had a game-high 20 points and senior Sean Wallis added 16 points and 10 assists as the men's basketball team repeated as National Champions with a 61-52 victory over No. 6 Richard Stockton College on Saturday at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va.
