Mary Collins enters her eighth season as an assistant athletic trainer at Washington University in St. Louis. Collins is assigned to cover volleyball, men's and women's cross country, softball and men's and women's track and field.
She arrived on the Danforth Campus after earning a master’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training from Indiana University in 2012. While completing her master’s degree, Collins served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the cross country and track and field teams. She received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Xavier University in 2010.
Collins also spent four years as an athletic training student at Xavier, assisting with men’s soccer, women’s basketball and baseball. She also spent one season working with the Elder High School football team as an athletic training student.
Collins resides in St. Louis with her husband Steve.
