After spending four seasons as Assistant Intramural Director, Haleigh Spencer has transitioned into a strength & conditioning specialist and assistant sports performance coach at Washington University in St. Louis. Spencer enters her second season in her new role.
She returned to her alma mater on January 9, 2012, after spending a year and a half as the assistant director of Marketing at Indiana University. Spencer assisted all promotional games and activities for football, volleyball, softball men’s basketball, and assisted with marketing efforts for the NCAA Volleyball Championship and the Big Ten Women’s Swimming & Diving Championship.
She also spent two years as a graduate assistant volleyball and softball coach at DePauw University from 2008-10.
Spencer spent four years as a student event supervisor and athletic secretary while an undergrad at WashU. She was also a four-year member of the volleyball team, and guided the Bears to three national championship appearances and the 2007 NCAA Division III National Championship. Spencer was named to the University Athletic Association (UAA) 30th Anniversary Volleyball Team in 2017.
She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington University in 2008, and earned a master’s degree in recreation and sport management from Indiana State University in 2010.
