Grant Rohrig begins his second season as an assistant athletic trainer at Washington University in St. Louis. Rohrig is assigned to cover football and baseball at WashU.
He arrived on the Danforth Campus after a two-year stint as graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Rohrig worked with the Loper football and baseball teams from 20116-18. In addition, he served as a preceptor for undergraduate athletic training students at clinical rotation sites.
A 2016 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training, Rohrig worked as an undergrad athletic trainer covering football, women's volleyball, women's soccer and women's ice hockey.
He earned his master’s degree in education from Nebraska Kearney in 2018.
Rohrig also was a Student Athletic Trainer for Hermantown High School (basketball and ice hockey) and Proctor High School (multiple teams) and for NCAA Division III College of St. Scholastica (baseball).
He is a NATA (National Athletic Trainers Association) and MATA (Minnesota Athletic Trainers Association) member.
