Andrew Koch enters his 12th year at Washington University in St. Louis, and 11th as the Faciility Manager.
Koch, who served as assistant facility manager in 2006-07, manages day-to-day operations, use and care of indoor and outdoor athletic and recreational facilities, and coordinate internal special events and game management.
He came to Washington University after spending three years at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Koch served as the administration/event management intern in 2003-04 before being promoted to administration/event Management graduate Assistant in July 2004. He was also the director of parking for athletic events for two years and supervised 125 students.
A Springfield, Ill. native, Koch received his bachelor's degree in recreation, sports and tourism from the University of Illinois in 2004, and a master's degree in educational organization from University of Illinois in 2005.
