David Jolley enters his 26th year with the WashU Development Office, including the last six as the Director of Development for the Department of Athletics.
Jolley, who started at WashU in 1991, spent his first eight years on the Danforth Campus as the Director of Development for the School of Social Work. He also had a 12-year stint as the Director of Development for the School of Engineering and Applied Science from 1999-2011.
Prior to WashU, he spent five years in sales and marketing with Rawlings and 10 years with a financial forms printing company. While with Rawlings, he had the honor of presenting the Major League Gold Glove Awards during ceremonies at three major league stadiums.
Jolley graduated in 1975 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University. He played four years of baseball at OWU, and had three MLB tryouts following graduation – St. Louis Cardinals, Minnesota Twins and Cincinnati Reds.
Jolley and his wife Barbara have two children – Casey (31) and Drew (26).
