Jacob Blasingame begins his second year as an assistant athletic trainer at Washington University in St. Louis after stints as a student and interim assistant athletic trainer.
Blasingame arrived at Washington University after earning his master's degree in athletic training from Saint Louis University in 2011. He also received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from SLU in 2010.
Blasingame completed a four-month term as interim assistant athletic trainer at Washington University (February-May 2012), and also completed stints as athletic trainer for Khazen AthleticKare (March-July 2012) and athletic training student at SLU (2009-11).
He also worked for the St. Louis Rams as an athletic training intern (Summer 2010) and had student athletic trainer mini rotations at Webster Groves High School and Washington University.
Blasingame is assigned to cover men’s soccer, junior varsity football, baseball and assist with men’s and women’s basketball.
