St. Louis, Mo., July 2, 2019 – Alison Lindsay, a 2018 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, was selected as a 2019 Today's Top 10 Award winner as announced by the NCAA.
The award recognizes former student-athletes for their successes on the field, in the classroom and in the community. All 10 winners of the 2019 awards were recognized in January at the Honors Celebration during the NCAA Convention in Orlando.
The nine-time All-American competed in 12 of 12 possible national championships for the Bears and helped WashU to trophy finishes (top-four) 10 times, including the program's first Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field National Titles in 2017.
The Alexandria, Va.-native concluded her studies at WashU with a 3.96 grade point average after double majoring in political science and French. She was selected as a Google Cloud/College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America honoree three times.
In addition to serving as a team captain, Lindsay was a fundraising team member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). She was also the president of the Association of Christian Truth Seekers (ACTS) Campus Ministry.
