WashU Tennis Has Five Ranked Nationally by ITA

St. Louis, Mo., Nov. 8, 2017 – Oracle and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the first Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Division III National Singles and Doubles Rankings of the 2017-18 season on Wednesday.

The WashU women had three student-athletes earn national rankings. Senior Grace Deering and freshman Ally Persky are ranked No. 6 after winning the ITA Central Region Doubles Championship. The duo placed sixth at the Oracle Cup.

In addition, freshman Ashley Lessen (No. 17) and Deering (No. 18) are ranked in the top-20 in singles after advancing to the semifinals of the ITA Central Region Singles Championship in October.

In the men's rankings, senior Jason Haugen and junior Konrad Kozlowski are ranked No. 12 in doubles. The duo advanced to the ITA Central Region Doubles Championship match in the fall.

The first set of national team rankings will be released on January 18, 2018.
