Scott Mueller begins his first season as a full-time assistant coach for the Bears. Mueller, who spent the past four seasons as a part-time coach, will serve as the defensive line coach for the Bears.
Mueller comes to Washington University after serving as the assistant coach at Maplewood Richmond Heights High School in 2002. Prior to his stint at Maplewood, he was a graduate assistant coach at Northern Illinois University in 2001 and a student assistant coach at Lindenwood University in 1999 and 2000.
A four-year member of the football team at Lindenwood, Mueller was an all-conference selection and a member of the Don Hansen's College Football Gazette All-America Team.
Mueller graduated from Lindenwood in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education, and in 2006 with a master’s degree in education. He is married to Kari Mueller. |
