Machan Named Second-Team All-South Region
Sophomore defensive back Tim Machan of the football team was named second-team All-South Region by D3football.com, as announced by the Web site. Machan, a first-team all-UAA honoree, led the conference and was third in Division III with seven interceptions.

22 Football Bears Named to All-UAA Team
Washington University had 22 student-athletes named to the All-University Athletic Association (UAA) football team, as announced by the leage office. Freshman Jim O'Brien (right), a first-team all-UAA honoree on offense and special teams, was named the UAA Rookie of the Year.

Bears End Regular Season With 30-20 Victory
Washington University’s football team closed out regular season play with a 30-20 victory at Greenville College on Saturday afternoon in Greenville, Ill. The Bears pushed its overall record to 7-3, snapping a string of five-straight seasons with a  6-4 mark.
