Washington University Women's Tennis Ends Season at NCAA Individual Championships

Cary, N.C. May 24, 2012 – Washington University in St. Louis women’s tennis senior Natalie Tingir, junior Kate Klein, and sophomore Corinne Rauck had their seasons come to an end at the 2012 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Individual Championships on Thursday at Cary Tennis Park.
Tingir dropped her singles match in the round of 32 to Emory University's Jordan Wylie in straight sets (6-3, 6-3). She finished the season with a 16-10 singles record. Tingir posted a 101-62 overall record in her career at Washington U., and was the 19th women's tennis player in school history to surpass 100 career wins.
In the opening round of the doubles championship, Klein and Rauck dropped their match to Alyssa Roberg and Courtney Lawless of Whitman College, 7-5, 7-6 (7-1). The duo, who was one of just 16 doubles team competing in the championship, completed their season with a 9-8 record.
