WUSTL Women's Tennis Falls to No. 6 Chicago, Tops No. 10 DePauw at Midwest Invitational

Madison, Wis., April 7, 2012 - The No. 13-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team dropped a 5-0 decision to No. 6 University of Chicago before earning a 5-4 win over No. 10 DePauw University on Saturday at the Midwest Invitational.
After falling to Chicago in the morning, the Bears earned a hard-fought 5-4 win over DePauw, avenging a 7-2 loss to the Tigers on March 4 at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships. In the deciding match against DePauw at No. 3 singles, sophomore Theresa Petraskova trailed 5-2 in the first set before rallying for a 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 win in the match to clinch the win for the Bears.
