Washington University Women’s Tennis Finishes Fourth at ITA Indoors
Greencastle, Ind., March 4, 2012 – The No. 14-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women’s tennis team dropped matches against No. 13 Carnegie Mellon University and No. 16 DePauw University on Saturday and Sunday to finish fourth at the 2012 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Indoor Championship in Greencastle, Ind.
Washington U. (2-2) lost its semifinal match against Carnegie Mellon, 9-0, on Saturday. In the third-place match against DePauw on Sunday, the Bears lost 7-2.
