Twitter Time With Senior Paige Madara
Q. What is your Twitter handle and how did you come up with it?
A. My twitter handle is @paigemadara. I decided to keep it pretty basic because the nicknames my teammates have given me over the years are a little weird and should be limited to the tennis court and van.
Q. How often do you check Twitter?
A. Usually a couple of times a day when I am bored or waiting in line for food.
Q. What would you say is your average number of Tweets?
A. Depends on the week and if I have anything to say, but on average 3-4 a week.
Q. Which of your teammates has the best Tweets and why?
A. Only Aly Coran (@coranimal19) is on twitter and she needs to pick up her twitter game. I guess I'll give her a little slack though because she is just a freshman and still has time to learn how to tweet.
Q. The people I follow in tennis are…
A. I follow Tennis.com (@tennis) and blogger Ben Rothenberg (@benrothenberg) for my tennis news. Pro tennis players don't usually tweet very funny or interesting things so they don't deserve my follow.
Q. Someone who you wouldn't think I follow is…
A. Micaela Bryan (@micaelabryan) is the one-year-old daughter of one of the Bryan brothers. She tweets really cute pictures with pro tennis players.
Q. The people whose tweets you can't miss…
A. One of my suitemates Elizabeth Plaster (@eplasty). She has a sarcastic sense of humor and tweets hilarious things about Wash. U. life.
Q. I wish_____was on Twitter.
A. I wish Corinne Rauck (@corinneraucks) would tweet more, she has the best stream of consciousness that always keeps us entertained on van rides.
Q. What Washington U. coach or staff member do you wish was on Twitter?
A. Our coach Kelly Stahlhuth. She has a sneaky sense of humor that can make our whole team roll with laughter.
Q. Describe your Twitter followers.
A. Growing and dedicated.
