Washington U. Women's Tennis Edges Chapman, 5-4

Orange, Calif., March 10, 2012 - The 14th-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team won four of six singles matches to earn a 5-4 win over No. 27 Chapman University on Saturday afternoon.

Chapman won two of three doubles matches to take an early lead in the match, but Washington U. won three singles matches in straight sets, and sophomore Betsy Edershile rallied for a three-set win in her singles match to give the Bears the win.
