Washington University Women’s Golf Announces Class of 2015
St. Louis, Mo., May 24, 2011 – Washington University in St. Louis women’s golf coach Sean Curtis announced that three student-athletes will join the Bears’ program as freshmen for the 2011-12 season.
The three players hail from three different states: Elena Chintala, Taylor Fagan and Olivia Lugar.
“We are thrilled to have such an outstanding group of players for our third official recruiting class,” said Curtis, who just finished his third season as head coach of the Bears. ”All three have been the leaders on their team for the last couple of years and we feel will come in and be able to compete right away for a starting position on the team.”
The Washington University in St. Louis women’s golf team tied for eighth place at the 2011 NCAA Division III Championship, its highest finish in school history.
