Twitter Time With Junior Andrea Hibbert
Q. What is your Twitter handle and how did you come up with it?
A. @DaOriginalWaldo. It was a nickname from freshman year; feel free to inquire about it with some of the senior baseball boys. That, plus all handles with the words "Colorado" and "swag" were taken.
Q. How often do you check Twitter?
A. It's an easy thing to scroll through walking to class so I would say 2-3 times a day on average.
Q. What would you say is your average number of Tweets?
A. Most of my tweets pertain to golf, so unless I have something particularly insightful for the day, you'll probably only see me once a week.
Q. Which of your teammates has the best Tweets and why?
A. We have 100% of the golf team on Twitter, so that's a tough choice. @MellyMelDubs, @zonniecow, and @TheHBuck are the most active teammates on the twittersphere. But I'll always have unwavering adoration for @homakat.
Q. The people I follow in golf are…
A. I'm disappointed in most professional golfers' Twitters. If you haven't seen the trend #dufnering sweeping the country go check out @JasonDufner. @bubbawatson has some gems, otherwise I really only follow @suzannpettersen. Girl can play.
Q. Someone who you wouldn't think I follow is…
A. I'm pretty boring when it comes to unusual twitter follows, @Jeopardy maybe? More importantly, can we discuss why @SUBWAY has 1.1 million followers? Although if they made a handle for Subway cookies then I'd pay more attention.
Q. The people whose tweets you can't miss…
A. The only person whose tweets I have to see is @darrenrovell.
Q. I wish_____was on Twitter.
A. My dad, Jack Hibbert. Funniest guy I know.
Q. What Washington U. coach or staff member do you wish was on Twitter?
A. I've been begging Coach Curtis to get an account for months now. Anxiously awaiting his Twitter debut.
Q. Describe your Twitter followers.
A. Zestful and eclectic.
