“We're really pleased with our play today, but we have one more round yet to go,” said sixth-year head coach Sean Curtis. “We had solid play from everyone. We talked about staying relaxed and each player sticking to their game. We also talked about finishing strong and making sure we get our putts to the hole to give them a chance to go in.”
Junior Olivia Lugar (75-73, 148) and sophomore Connie Zhou (76-72, 148) are in a three-way tie for second in the individual standings, and one shot back of Loretta Giovannettone of Methodist (72-75, 147). Giovannettone entered tournament play as the No. 1 ranked player in NCAA Division III.
