Washington U. to Host The Art of Coaching Volleyball Clinic on April 28-29

St. Louis, Mo., February 9, 2011 – Six of the nation’s most successful volleyball coaches will be at Washington University in St. Louis to host a two-day clinic as part of The Art of Coaching Volleyball Series on Saturday-Sunday, April 28-29, at the WU Field House.

In addition to Washington U. head coach Rich Luenemann, who has led the Bears to three NCAA Division III national championships and collected more than 1,000 career victories, the clinic in St. Louis will also feature five Division I coaches.

Those coaches include Penn State University head coach Russ Rose, Stanford University head coach John Dunning, Oregon State University head coach Terry Liskevych, Oregon State associate head coach Mark Barnard, and Iowa State University head coach Christy Johnson Lynch.

The focus of the clinic will be to present diverse perspectives on volleyball techniques, tactics, drills, practice, physical conditioning and mental training.
