Twitter Time With Junior Jasmine Williams
JASMINE WILLIAMS – BIO
Q. What is your Twitter handle and how did you come up with it?
A. I am @_SnazzyJazzy. I just remember someone calling me that one day and so I decided to use it as my Twitter name.
Q. How often do you check Twitter?
A. I check twitter pretty often. Multiple times a day. From my phone when I get bored in between classes and anytime I open up the Internet on my laptop.
Q. What would you say is your average number of Tweets?
A. Probably about 10-15 tweets on a normal day.
Q. Which of your teammates has the best Tweets and why?
A. I'd have to say Natasha Tillett (@tashatee93). Something funny is always happening in her day whether it's about class, homework, practice or just walking around campus.
Q. The people I follow in track are…
A. Definitely Sanya Richards (@SanyaRichiRoss), Lolo Jones (@lolojones) and Allyson Felix (@allysonfelix). I also follow former Olympic runner Marion Jones (@marionjones).
Q. Someone who you wouldn't think I follow is…
A. Haha Samuel L. Jackson (@samuelLJackson).
Q. The people whose tweets you can't miss…
A. Princeton Review (@two_princetons) everything that he tweets just cracks me up to no end. His tweets always come in packs, you'll see like multiple tweets from him in a row, all about different things.
Q. I wish_____was on Twitter.
A. My friend Alexandra Payne, or a page/trend called "High Jumper Problems"
Q. What Washington U. coach or staff member do you wish was on Twitter?
A. Coach Lane Lohr should get a twitter. He's never particularly negative or even has much to say after meets so I'd like to see his actual thoughts after a big meet or something. Also Dr. Harvey Fields. Everyone loves him and it would be much easier to get a hold of him. He's always on the move.
Q. Describe your Twitter followers.
A. Most of my followers are friends from high school and some that I've met here in college. The only ones I really interact with through twitter are my close friends from back home and people here at WashU that I talk with and see on a regular basis.
