“Red Out Day” Set For October 29th and 30th

St. Louis, Mo., October 25, 2010 – As the fall sports seasons come to a close and with winter sports right around the corner, Red Alert is putting a big effort together at the end of this month to increase student’s awareness of Washington University Athletics.

Red Alert, the student-only fan group for Washington University Athletics, is hosting a “Red Out Day” on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 29-30, at all home events. Red Alert will be promoting all of the home contests on Friday and Saturday, as well as advertising with various red-themed giveaways. Red Alert is encouraging all fans and student-athletes to wear Red on both days.

Friday, Oct. 29
Women’s Soccer vs. Brandeis – 5 p.m.
Volleyball vs. Culver-Stockton – 5:15 p.m.
Men’s Soccer vs. Brandeis – 7:30 p.m.
Volleyball vs. Dominican – 7:30 p.m. (SENIOR DAY)

Saturday, Oct. 30
Volleyball vs. Millsaps – 10 a.m.
Football vs. Carnegie Mellon – Noon (SENIOR DAY)
Volleyball vs. Hanover – 2:30 p.m.
