Men’s Tennis Wins Three Singles Flights at Principia Invite

Elsah, Ill., February 26, 2012 – The Washington University in St. Louis men’s tennis team captured three singles flights at the Principia College Invitational on Friday-Saturday, Feb. 24-25, in Elsah, Ill. In doubles, each of Washington U. three teams posted a 2-1 record.
Notes:
• Freshman Amreet Mohanty won all three matches at No. 4 singles in straight-sets to claim the championship.
• Junior Seth Sankary posted a 3-0 record at No. 5 singles to claim the championship.
• Freshman Connor Mulhall won all three matches at No. 6 singles to win the championship.

Washington University (3-2) will have a week off before hosting NCAA Division II Ferris State University on Tuesday, March 6, at 3:30 p.m. The Bulldogs have a 3-1 overall record and defeated University Athletic Association (UAA) member Case Western Reserve University on Feb. 17.
