Dylan Richter Hired as Harlem Globetrotters Digital Marketing Manager
Phoenix, Ariz., July 12, 2012 – Two weeks after being selected in the Sixth Annual Harlem Globetrotters player draft, 2012 Washington University in St. Louis graduate Dylan Richter has announced he will hang up the basketball shoes and step in to the corporate office.
Richter, who recently interned with the Globetrotters’ digital team, has been hired on full-time as the Harlem Globetrotters’ digital marketing manager.
In his role as digital marketing manager with the Globetrotters, Richter – who graduated with a B.S. degree in business administration and marketing – will be responsible for the execution of social media, email, and website programs.
Richter, a 2012 D3hoops.com honorable-mention All-America selection, started all 27 games for the Bears a season ago and was fifth in the conference averaging 16.4 points per game. The 2012 University Athletic Association (UAA) Player of the Year also led the team and the conference with 75 three-pointers made.
Richter appeared in 102 career games and finished sixth in school history in three-pointers made (152) and 19th on the all-time scoring list (1,112). He also competed in the 2012 NABC Reese's Division III All-Star Game on March 17 in Salem, Va., and was a member of the 2009 NCAA Division III National Championship team.
