Dylan Richter Named to D3hoops.com Team of the Week

St. Louis, Mo., January 31, 2012 – Washington University in St. Louis senior guard Dylan Richter was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week, as announced Tuesday by the website.

Richter averaged 28 points per game and shot 64.3 percent from the field in the Bears’ two victories over the University Athletic Association (UAA) preseason favorites last weekend at home. He hit 12-of-20 from three-point range and connected on 8-of-10 from the foul line in the two wins.

Richter scored 23 points in an 83-78 win against the University of Rochester on Friday, and followed that up with a career-high 33 points and nine three-pointers in a 99-88 victory over then-No. 4 ranked Emory University on Sunday.

He makes his first career appearance on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week, which recognizes the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week's action.
