STORYLINES
• Coming off a bye week, the Washington University in St. Louis football team looks to pick up its second win of the season on Saturday, Oct. 13, against No. 15 ranked Wabash College. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. (CT) at Francis Field in St. Louis, Mo.

• The Bears have recorded a .500 or better record in 22 of 23 seasons under head coach Larry Kindbom. Washington U. must win four of its last five games to finish .500 in 2012.

• Washington U. is 4-4 in games played after a bye week since 2004. Last season, the Bears dropped a 24-3 decision at Wabash College after the bye week. Washington U. has played Wabash three-straight seasons following the bye.

• Washington U. and Wabash first met in 1915, with the Little Giants posting a 13-3 win.

• Wabash is playing its 126th season of football, posting an overall record of 629-378-59. The Little Giants rank fifth among Division III school in all-time victories and 23rd in winning percentage with a mark of .617.

• Wabash College is a small, private, liberal arts college for men, located in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Founded in 1832, Wabash is one of three remaining traditional all-men’s liberal arts colleges in the United States.

• Wabash’s notable alumni include: Pete Metzelaars, NFL all-time leader in games played by a tight end and four-time AFC Champion, Thomas Riley Marshall, 28th Vice-President of the United States (under Woodrow Wilson) and Robert Charles, inventor of the Happy Meal.
