Washington University’s Andrew Goldstick Named to D3Baseball.com Team of the Week

St. Louis, March 7, 2012 – Washington University in St. Louis freshman shortstop Andrew Goldstick was named to the first edition of the D3Baseball.com Team of the Week of the 2012 season, as announced by the website.

Goldstick led Washington U. to five wins last week, including two wins each over then-No. 13 College of St. Scholastica and then-No. 16 Buena Vista University. He batted .647 (9-for-15) with six RBIs and six runs scored on the week. Goldstick recorded at least one hit in all five wins for the Bears. He was 3-for-4 with three RBIs in the Bears’ come-from-behind 11-8 win over St. Scholastica. Through Washington U.’s first nine games of the season, Goldstick is batting .458, with an on-base percentage of .519.
