Washington University Baseball Announces Class of 2015
St. Louis, Mo., October 12, 2011 – Washington University in St. Louis head baseball coach Steve Duncan will welcome 17 new faces to the baseball program this spring for the Bears’ 2012 campaign.
“This class is deep, talented and has already made a big impression this fall,” said Duncan, who enters his second season as the head baseball coach. “ As a staff, we have very high expectations for what they will be able to accomplish in their four years at Washington University.”
The class of 2015 features student-athletes from 10 different states and the District of Columbia. The Bears will be adding eight pitchers, five corner infielders three middle infielders, a catcher and outfielder to this year’s squad.
Washington U. finished the 2011 season with a 29-17 overall record and ranked sixth in the final NCAA Division III Central Region rankings.
