Pat Smith enters her 11th year as the football secretary at Washington University in St. Louis.
Among her responsibilities, she manages the office environment, maintains the player database, prepares expense vouchers and supports the 10 coaches in the program. She also maintains the recruit database and prepares football mailings.
Smith has 17 years of executive secretarial work experience at various firms in the St. Louis area, followed by a stint of stay-at-home mom and preschool teacher.
A 1973 graduate of Kirkwood High School, Smith and her husband, Bob, have three children: Jenny (24), Carolyn (22) and Kevin (17).
