Jeff Pomranka

Assistant Coach, Men's Soccer

Jeff Pomranka enters his 11th season as an assistant men’s soccer coach at Washington University in St. Louis.

In addition to his college coaching duties, Pomranka also served as head coach of the University City High School boys' soccer team from 1996-2000. He also held the same position at University City for the girls' squad from 1997-2004.

Pomranka played for four seasons in goal on the Danforth Campus, helping the 1987 squad to a second-place finish at the NCAA Tournament. He was a three-year starter in goal at Doherty High School in Colorado Springs, Colo., where he received High School All-America, Colorado Player of the Year and Team MVP honors in 1985.

A 1991 graduate of Washington University, Pomranka earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology. He works at Paraquad as the director of employment and college for living. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children: Olivia (12) and Mia (8).
