After serving as the head coach of the Washington University in St. Louis Cheerleading team from 2005-07, Chloé Risto has returned to St. Louis to once again to assist the team. A 2004 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Risto was a member of the varsity cheerleading squad while completing her B.A. in psychology.

As the head coach in 2005-07, Risto also worked in the Office of Residential Life. She left in 2007 to pursue her M.S. in Higher Education Student Affairs at Indiana University, graduating in 2009.

Risto assists head coach, Natalie LaFranzo, in the recruitment and coaching of cheerleaders, as well as in the development of the program and safety standards. She has completed the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators’ (AACCA) Safety Certification Program.

Along with coaching at Washington University, Risto works full-time for the American Youth Foundation as the Director of the National Leadership Conference.
