Annie Crangle
Assistant Coach
Annie Crangle begins her first season as an assistant women's basketball coach at Washington University.
Crangle spent the past two years with Teach For America as a teacher in Minneapolis. She served as an assistant coach for the Academy of North Minneapolis third- through fifth-gade boys' basketball team form 2010-12. Crangle got her first coaching experience as the Piedmont Middle School girls' A basketball team coach from 2004-05, while still a student at Piedmont High School.
A native of Piedmont, Calif., Crangle played two seasons at the University of Wisconsin, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors for the 2007-08 season. She was a four-year starter for the Piedmont High School basketball team that won California Division IV State Championships in 2003-04 and 2004-05. Crangle also excelled in tennis, playing singles for four years on Piedmont's four-time league champion team.
Crangle graduated from Piedmont High School in 2006. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and African American studies from the University of Wisconsin in 2010. Crangle is currently enrolled full-time in Olin Business School, where she is pursuing a Master of Business Administration.
