Volleyball Captures 10th National Championship
The No. 4 Washington University volleyball team defeated No. 1 Juniata College, 3-1 to capture the 2009 NCAA Division III National Championship on Saturday, Nov. 21, at the DeCarlo Varsity Center in University Heights, Ohio. In the process, WU won its NCAA-record 10th national title.

The No. 17 ranked women’s soccer team advanced to its second Final Four in school history with a 2-1 victory over Calvin College on Saturday night in Rock Island, Ill. Sophomore Lee Ann Felder scored the game-winning goal for Washington University in the 57th minute.

Thompson's 31 Points Leads WU Past Wesleyan
Senior guard Aaron Thompson tied his career-high with 31 points to lead the top-ranked men’s basketball team to a 76-71 win at Illinois Wesleyan University in the championship game of the 2009 Titan Tip-Off Tournament held in Bloomington, Ill.

The Washington University men’s cross country was seventh and the women finished 10th at the 2009 NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Highland Park Golf Course in Highland Hills, Ohio. Taryn Surtees and Michael Burnstein were All-Americans.
